The annual Anti-Poverty Roundtable provides a forum for partners to set priorities, share progress and enhance collaboration on a variety of poverty reduction efforts across the NWT.
Since 2013, the GNWT has been acting as convenor for annual Anti-Poverty Roundtable gatherings of Indigenous and community governments, non-government organizations and community service providers, charitable and philanthropic entities, and the private sector. Through these Roundtables, the partners have worked collaboratively to share knowledge about poverty reduction and prevention, to set shared priorities, and to advance collective efforts aligned with the NWT’s strategic framework for the elimination of poverty.
